Release notes
What’s new in DeArtifact, the repair plugin for AI-generated music. The newest version is always at the top.
Version 1.0Initial release
The first public release of DeArtifact, available as a free download and as DeArtifact Pro.
Repair controls
- Phase Alignment. Reduces fizzy, shimmery highs by targeting isolated “birdie” spikes and frame-to-frame flutter, leaving stable notes and harmonics alone.
- Transient Restore. Brings back attack on drums and plucks. It only boosts attacks and never squashes sustain.
- Bleed Cleanup. Deepens the gaps between sources to clean up leakage from other instruments.
- Mix and Output controls for blending the repaired signal with the original and setting the final level.
Works on
- Full mixes from AI music generators such as Suno and Udio.
- Vocal, drum and bass stems from stem separators such as Demucs.
- Mono and stereo audio, with stereo-linked processing that keeps your stereo image intact.
Workflow
- Waveform display above the three repair knobs.
- Latency-matched bypass, so you can A/B your track fairly.
- Low CPU use.
Formats and platforms
- VST3 plugin and Standalone app on Windows, macOS and Linux.
- AU plugin on macOS.
Editions
- DeArtifact Free ($0). VST3 plugin and Standalone app with every feature in the full version, with restricted exports.
- DeArtifact Pro ($29 launch price). Removes all restrictions, and adds the Advanced Fingerprint Engine and free updates for life.
Good to know
- DeArtifact reduces artifacts. It can’t restore detail that was never in the audio.
- DeArtifact is not affiliated with Suno, Udio or any stem-separation project.
